Male & Female Cinnamon Teal Duck
Description:
Cinnamon Teal is fairly easy to breed and maintain in a captive setting. Male Cinnamon teal acquire bright cinnamon color with a brown back, a red eye and a dark bill. The females have a mottled brown body, a pale brown head, brown eyes and a grey bill. Its eye line, and eye ring are less distinct and bill is longer and more spatulated. They are suitable for a mixed collection. Breeding season is in spring, and nest is laid on the ground under natural cover or in a nesting box. Clutches consist of 8-12 eggs and are incubated for about 25 days.
